“At the end of my master’s degree, I had a summer job at Air France. For three months they take young people to be PCBs, extra staff on board. We train for two weeks to learn the basics of being a flight attendant. To get a job, you almost have to pass a competitive exam: there are English, Spanish, logic tests… And even a normal day Koh Lanta. People were eliminated before the finals.

“I had a great desire to travel. Libreville, Bamako, Tokyo, Los Angeles, Hanoi… I’ve been to places I would never have gone.
