Chanel takes us to the coast of a coastal town in Normandy that Parisians adore. Adorned with large hats and berets, the models of the French house presented a collection ideal for relaxing under the sea breeze.

Chic Parisian Chanel goes into exile by the sea
The fashion show is a real tribute to Deauville, a key city in the history of the fashion house. If Coco Chanel opened her first boutique here in 1913, the designer relied on the aura of this prestigious destination to create her own sports fashion and reinterpret the tailoring independence of women.
To highlight this iconic city of Chanel DNA, a central island, whose screens broadcast images of beaches and sunsets, took pride of place in the middle of a catwalk made of wooden slats like those on the coast in Deauville.
The Chanel woman walks there with her big hat with cuffs, which leaves her face clear to fully appreciate the view of the coast. Her long coat is open and dangerous, because it is not yet too cold when she comes to breathe fresh air in Normandy.
This nautical vibe is reflected in the navy collar waistcoat with a large semi-sheer black sequined lapel, ultra-sleek and ornate bird patterns. The silhouette is dressed in a multi-pocket jacket and baggy knee-length shorts accompanied by boots, ensuring comfort while walking while remaining chic.
The clothes are comfortable to wear, with soft white cardigans, thick knit skirts, layering of two cardigans with contrasting stripes and brown jackets and coats in pointed stilettos.
The dress recalls the aesthetics of the turn of the last century, the heyday of Gabrielle Chanel, with its slightly puffed sleeves, round neckline, mid-calf length and slanted buttons. All enhanced by rolled up gloves.
Some pieces are decidedly trendy, between color gradients, a denim plume and orange skirt, a dress with a sheer diamond bra and a satin dress with an underwear effect. But Chanel’s essentials are still present: a double-C pearl necklace, exaggerated tweed, a camellia-embellished necklace and bi-material shoes are clearly part of the line.
We also find leather ensembles that contrast with more airy dresses with frills, which we imagine are set in motion by the action of the sea breeze.
The Chanel collection is delicate, refined and functional, with a palette of colors ranging from pale pink, black, bright orange, white, gray and even eggplant purple.
