Red Bull team principal since his appearance in the Formula 1 paddock in 2005, Christian Horner is in turmoil. The Briton is the subject of an investigation commissioned by the team, a spokesman for the structure announced on Monday, February 6, confirming information from the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf (paid article in Dutch), which reports that he has been accused of “inappropriate behaviour”.

After learning of some of the recent allegations, the company launched an independent investigation. This procedure, which is already underway, is being carried out by a specialized external consultant. The company takes these matters very seriously and the investigation will be completed as soon as possible. It would not be appropriate to comment further at this stage“, announced the Red Bull team. Quoted by the daily De Telegraaf, Horner indicates that he “he completely rejects these allegations.”

Since its inception, under the leadership of Christian Horner, the Red Bull team has won six Constructors’ World Championship titles, including those in the last two seasons. Max Verstappen, its leader, is a three-time current world driving champion.
