The captain of the French men’s wheelchair tennis team gave an exclusive interview to Tout le sport on Monday.
Yannick Noah launched a new challenge. In December, the former player was named captain of the French men’s wheelchair tennis team. The goal is clear: the Paralympic Games in Paris 2024, from August 28 to September 8. More than six months before the opening ceremony, the last French winner of Roland-Garros (1983) gave an exclusive interview to the show Tout le sport, Monday 12 February.
At the National Training Centre, in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, Yannick Noah returned to the start of his surprise appointment to this position as the Blues are in the heart of a three-day training session. “I received a message from my friend Stéphane Houdethe says. I was emotional at the end of this message. It all started with a story about friendship.” He also explains having “feeling (yes he can) bring something to this team”.
